What Commissions Are Costing You
How this calculator works
Most third-party delivery marketplaces charge restaurants a commission on every order placed through their app - commonly somewhere between 15% and 30%, depending on the platform and service tier. That commission comes directly out of your order revenue, before any other costs.
This calculator multiplies your monthly order volume by your average order value to estimate your total order revenue, then applies your current commission rate to show what you're paying in fees each month and year. It then subtracts the monthly cost of a NexifyPOS plan to show your net savings if you moved that same order volume to a commission-free branded ordering setup instead.
Why commission-free ordering matters
Beyond the direct cost, commission-based marketplaces also control the customer relationship - you don't own the customer's contact details, and repeat orders often go through the same commission structure every time. Branded ordering keeps that relationship (and the revenue) with your restaurant.
